Supervisor Gloria Molina Endorses Hilda Solis for L.A. County Board of Supervisors, District 1

“Hilda Solis has a grassroots history in our community as a champion.”- Supervisor Gloria Molina, May 8, 2014

It is my honor to accept the endorsement of someone whom I’ve regarded as a mentor for years:  Gloria Molina.

We met years ago when I ran for the Rio Hondo Community College Board of Trustees.  Since then, I have respected Gloria Molina because she is such a passionate advocate for the community.

Gloria Molina has served with distinction on the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors for 23 years and her impact can be felt in all corners of the First District- from Eagle Rock to South Gate, and from Downtown L.A. to Claremont.

Her leadership on the Board is one of the reasons Los Angeles County currently has a balanced budget and a thriving county workforce.

The recent recession may have knocked the wind out of various counties and municipalities throughout America. But Los Angeles County is in good shape, thanks to the good judgment of Gloria Molina and her Board colleagues.

You know where Gloria Molina stands on the issues and you know that Gloria Molina fights for what she believes in and I am thankful for her support!
